Tujunga Medical Group has been taking care of patients from the Foothill Communities since 1956. The facility was built by Dr. Mennen, who then was joined by Dr. Greenbaum. Shortly thereafter, they became very busy and asked Drs. Moss and Mace to help. In the early 1960’s they expanded the building so that they could accommodate X-ray and lab services.

The doctors were using Glendale Adventist Hospital and the newly opened Verdugo Hills Hospital for inpatient services. Dr. Mennen was the first to leave TMG for a teaching carrier at Loma Linda University and later on Dr. Moss retired in the late 80’s.

In October 1993 Dr. Zdarzyl, who just finished his training at USC/Los Angeles County Medical Center, acquired the practice from the two remaining doctors. Several months later Dr. Mace retired after forty years of helping people with their health needs.

In order to keep up with the constantly growing patient population Dr.Zdarzyl asked Dr.Yue, who recently finished training at Glendale Adventist Medical Center, to join him as a partner and owner of the Group. Dr. Yue started taking care of patients at the facility in November of 1994.

In the spring of 1995, Dr.Greenbaum went on a well deserved retirement after 39 years of continuous service to the community.

Dr. Stephen joined us on a part-time basis in May of 2001, after finishing her training at Glendale Adventist Medical Center.

Dr. Peterson joined us in June 2004.
